Meals on Wheels
Meals on Wheels are available for people who:
- can't prepare a hot meal without help, because of a medical condition or a disability
- have no whānau/family help readily available
- need a delivered meal to eat well and stay independent.
Your doctor or health professional can refer you for Meals on Wheels or you can refer yourself.
The West Coast DHB subsidises Meals on Wheels but there is a small cost, which is subject to change. For more information about Meals on Wheels, phone the coordinator on (03) 769‑7891.
