Staying safe in summer

Two of the great things about summer are warmer temperatures and longer days. They mean we can spend more time outdoors. But they also come with a few risks. The links below give advice on how to avoid and treat food poisoning and insect bites, and stay safe on the water.

You can also read about Sun-smart behaviour, how to treat diarrhoea and vomiting caused by food poisoning in adults and in children, and how to treat bites & stings.
