For people aged 18 to 65 years, living north of the Waimakariri River and up to Hurunui, and with a mental health diagnosis. Patients with mild intellectual disability and a mental illness are also accepted. There is a pick-up and drop-off service twice a week for both Amberley and Waimakariri districts.

MHAPS is a peer-led and peer-delivered mental health and addictions service. All its staff have their own experience of mental distress or addiction, and of meaningful recovery. Their experience helps them to listen to you carefully.

To access any of their programmes, groups, or services, you're welcome to pop in for a cuppa and conversation with a peer worker. You don't need a referral or appointment. Drop in between 10 am and 1.30 pm Monday to Friday.
