Communication cards in multiple languages

The Design for Health and Wellbeing Lab and Auckland DHB have designed communication cards that hospital patients can use. Patients and their families can point to the icons on the cards to help communicate their immediate needs, wants and concerns to hospital staff.

The communication cards are available in the following languages:

English Māori Arabic Burmese Chinese (simplified) Chinese (traditional) French

Hindi Korean Russian Samoan Tongan Vietnamese

There is also a blank version that an interpreter, family member or friend can complete with translations of other languages.
