Preventing childhood injuries

bike helmetChildhood injuries are common. Thankfully most of these are minor. But every year in New Zealand children are badly injured or die in accidents, some of which could have been prevented.

Some accidents such as traffic accidents are caused by adults, and these could be reduced by driving more slowly. Some injuries could be prevented by planning ahead.
