West Coast DHB Diabetes Service

West Coast DHB Diabetes Service offers advice, support, and specialist follow-up for people on the West Coast with type 1 diabetes, or complicated type 2 diabetes. Your doctor may refer you to see a specialist at a diabetes outpatient clinic, or to some of the Group Education Classes. There are outpatient clinics at Buller Hospital, Grey Base Hospital, and Hokitika Health Centre. Services include a dietitian, diabetes nurse specialist, and podiatrist.
