In this section you will find information about looking after yourself when you are being treated for cancer, the side effects of cancer treatment, and some specific cancers. We will be adding more information in the future, but in the meantime you can find good information on specific cancers on the Cancer Society website.

On the West Coast, most chemotherapy (medical oncology) is done at Grey Base Hospital. However, some is provided at Buller Hospital, and some people may need to go to Christchurch Hospital for chemotherapy. All radiation therapy is done at Christchurch Hospital."
