Urethritis is inflammation of your urethra, the tube that you pass urine through. It can cause discharge from the end of the urethra, pain on passing urine, and itching. It is usually caused by a sexually transmitted infection. If you have these symptoms you should see your GP or the sexual health clinic for a check-up.
