Looking after teeth & gums

You can avoid many dental problems by looking after your teeth and gums. This includes everyone from babies, mum's to be through to older adults. The top five tips for looking after your teeth are:

  1. Brush your teeth every day – morning and night.
  2. Brush with a soft toothbrush and fluoride toothpaste.
  3. After brushing your teeth, swish and spit but don’t rinse.
  4. Avoid sugary foods and drinks between meals – give your mouth a break.
  5. Drink water or milk between meals.
