After-hours medical care

Tiakitanga ā-rongoā hei ngā wā kē atu

The 24 Hour Surgery has scheduled closures from 10 pm until 8 am the following morning on these dates:

From Thursday 21 September, the 24 Hour Surgery will close to patients each day between 10 pm and 8 am the following morning. This is a temporary solution to staff shortages. They will be returning to a 24 hour service as soon as they can safely do so.

See the Pegasus Health website for up-to-date information about the closures and answers to frequently asked questions.

You can also follow the 24 Hour Surgery Facebook page for live updates.

If you or someone near you is having a medical emergency, phone 111 and ask for an ambulance. See Emergency medical help for more information.

If you need medical advice and it isn't an emergency, you can phone your general practice and speak to someone who can help. If you live in Canterbury, you can call your general practice 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Outside working hours, calls are automatically redirected to a health professional for health advice.
