Colposcopy is a procedure used to examine a woman's cervix using an instrument called a colposcope. It's done if your doctor sees something abnormal when performing a smear test. It can also be done if the smear test finds some abnormal cells in the cervix.

Colposcopy is done at the Colposcopy Department at Christchurch Women's Hospital.
